Romeo + Juliet (1996)
This movie embodies my spirit. I dream of Juliet's room & all the angels looking over her. I often watch the scene where they meet before going to sleep. The immediate love in their eyes through the fish tank works me to tears everytime. "I'm Kissing You" by Des'ree as the background music makes it a million times more beautiful.
The whole soundtrack is amazing. Perfectly encapsulates 90s nostalgia. It makes me so happy to know that 9th graders across the country are discovering this movie for the first time.

Broken Flowers (2005)
This was a great watch. It was recommended to me by a friend and I somehow found the DVD on display at my favorite thrift store within days. I often think of how people can impact your life so heavily the fade out of it. The trip Bill Murray goes on embodies this thought. It has an amazing cast, as well. I absolutely love Jeffery Wright's character in this film. Definitely recommend.

Grease 2 (1982)
This is a movie a grew up watching with my stepmom. It is her all-time favorite and there is no way to avoid listening to her whisper each line along with the actors.
I've seen the first Grease almost as much as this one, but Grease 2 has always stuck in my heart more. I find the music catchier and there are some truly mesmerizing visuals. Stephanie Zinone is the true definition of cool.
I'm worked to tears everytime I watch the Girl for All Seasons performance turn into (Love Will) Turn Back the Hand of Time. True angelic fever dream. Please give this movie a chance.

Dazed and Confused (1993)
This is most definitely not a first time watch. I found this movie in high school (through my stepmom, Christy) and it instantly became a favorite. I quite enjoy the plotlessness of the movie. It's such an easy watch that always keeps me coming back. I also love the combination of 70s and 90s styles thrown altogether. You also can't mention this movie without recognizing the killer soundtrack. Every single scene has an amazing song in the background but it somehow doesn't get old. Each song drop blows my mind. Last December/January, I actually watched this movie at least once a day for about 3 weeks. (it was a very odd, boring winter).

House at the End of the Street (2012)

Very interesting movie. I primed myself to be super scared (lights off, home alone, etc.) but it didn't pull through
I wouldn't say it was bad. It had a good plot and Jennifer Lawerence is great but the intense editing threw the vibe off for me.
